Despite a gloomy reaction particularly appreciated by Gattuso for a team that after 13 consecutive useful results, has returned to savor the bitterness of defeat mid-week, Milan are ready to face the challenge against Davide Ballardini's Genoa with the desire to cancel the recent bad evening in the Europa League.
In the 4-3-3 rossonero, in front of Gigio Donnarumma in goal, the defense should be composed, from right to left, by Fabio Borini (currently ahead of Calabria, slightly out of pain from last Thursday's challenge), Leonardo Bonucci, Alessio Romagnoli and Ricardo Rodriguez, with 3/4 of the defensive block confirmed. In midfield the trio of untouchables are back, with the usual Kessie, Biglia and Bonaventura, while in front of the group should be represented by Nikola Kalinic, ready from the first minute, instead of Patrick Cutrone, with Suso and Calhanoglu on their hips and called to redeem the poor performance offered against Arsenal.
This however, is the probable starting 11 for the challenge against Genoa:
Milan (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Borini, Bonucci, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Biglia, Bonaventura; Suso, Kalinic, Calhanoglu.
