Milan has closed the Donnarumma chapter and started a new journey with Mike Maignan as their keeper. Today the French keeper took his medical in Milano before he will sign his contract.
As reported by Sky Sport's Emanuele Baiocchini, Milan will pay €13 million plus €2 million in bonuses for the transfer fee, with Maignan receiving €2.5 million net after taxes plus bonuses which could bring salary right up to €3 million.
As reported to Sky Sport, Milan's last offer to Donnarumma was made about a month ago. The rossoneri proposed a two year deal with an annual salary of €7 million plus one in bonuses with an exit clause worth €20 million in case of failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Donnarumma's agent Mino Raiola didn't respond to the offer staying out on his demand for €12 million a season, this is what caused the parties to part ways.
