Milan are in talks with Strasbourg for young defender Mohamed Simakan. The Rossoneri have already submitted a bid of €15 million plus €3 more million in add-ons, whereas Strasbourg are asking €18 millions and €2 million in add-ons to let the centre-back leave.
The parties are negotiating in order to bridge the gap between offer and demand, with Milan confident that an agreement can be reached in the coming weeks, considering also the player's desire to join the Serie A club.
On a similar note, Milan are also discussing a deal with Toulouse 19-year-old midfielder Kouadio Koné. The Ligue 2 club have set an asking price of €10 million, while the Rossoneri have put on the table an offer in the region of 5-6 million euros as of now. The negotiations will continue, however, similarly to the Simakan deal, Milan's directors are optimistic about a positive conclusion of the deal in the next few weeks.
