Milan youngster Manuel Locatelli could soon leave the Rossoneri to get more playing time in the Italian top flight. Sassuolo and Milan are in fact very close to agreeing a deal for the transfer of the midfielder, born in 1998, to the neroverdi and the final green light to the move - that could be on the basis of an outright sale with a buyback option for Gattuso's club - is expected to arrive on Monday.
An agreement between Locatelli's agents and Sassuolo is also on the verge to be reached, as proved by the fact that the player decided not to travel to Spain, where the Rossoneri will play a friendly against Real Madrid. The youngster is expected to undergo Sassuolo medical on Monday and to start a new chapter in his career.
