After extending Stefano Pioli's contract to 2022, Milan are starting to plan the future, starting from the outgoings. Left-back Ricardo Rodriguez, who is poised to return from the loan to PSV soon, has made clear that he won't accept the offer from Lokomotiv Moscow. The Rossoneri were considering including the Swiss defender in a possible deal for attacking midfielder Aleksey Miranchuk, however the player informed the club that he wants the final say on his next club. With a contract set to run out in 2021, Rodriguez wants to take more time to evaluate his options.
Another player that will most likely leave the Rossoneri is midfielder Lucas Biglia. The Argentinian has attracted interest from Real Betis, who have already opened discussions with the player, Celta Vigo and two clubs from the Qatari league.
