Milan continues to work on signing Rodrigo Bentancur to improve Montella's midfield. The rossoneri have in fact increased their offer after Boca Juniors rejected their proposal last night- Milan is now adding a higher figure in bonuses to their €13 million offer as well as a percentage of the potential future resale of the player. Galliani has given the Argentine club a deadline of August 16th to respond, Milan's executive director is confident he'll get a positive answer. Should Boca Juniors turn down this latest proposal it could be seen as a sign that they prefer to sell the player to Juventus, who has an option on the midfielder.
In the meantime, Boca Juniors has found Bentancur's replacement- Sebastian Perez is scheduled to take a medical tomorrow before signing a contract with the Argentine club. Perez participated in the Olympics with Colombia, who were recently eliminated by Brazil. Bentancur's future should be decided in the near future.
