After the takeover by Elliot of Milan, big changes are on the horizon for the structure of the red and black club. As reported by SkySport, there will be a group at the top made up of three key figures: a CEO, General Director or Technical Director, and a Sporting Director.
One of the initial targets for Milan is Leonardo. He could join as a sporting director, the same role he filled at PSG. At the moment, there have only been a few contacts sent, but Leonardo could also be a key in landing Maldini. The latter has not yet been contacted, however. There have been communications with Ivan Gazidis who currently works at Arsenal, as well as with Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali.
Milan's new ownership are planning to take action with regards to the management of their investment.
