Milan finished the year on a very sour note in Bergamo with their worst loss since 1998 when they lost 5-0 to Zeman's Roma. After the heavy defeat to Atalanta, the rossoneri's manager Stefano Pioli spoke to Sky Sport:"I hope the players think every day about what we weren't able to do today despite being on vacation. It's not enough to have an extra training session, we mismanaged they match. We must do a lot better. We'll have a lot of matches in January, we'll have to prove we aren't what we showed today"
Pioli went on:"We are defeated and are disappointed in the performance, but I feel the club's confidence, they know the evaluations they must make, I've been working with this team for three months and I know their attributes and defects".
