Milan manager commented on the 0-0 draw which saw his side knocked out of the Coppa Italia by the away goal rule: "In a two-legged contest, we paid the price from the penalty in the first leg. Today, we suffered too much from Juventus' initial pressure and then an error was made which sent us a man down. We played well defensively and we even had chances to get past this round. We can be compacted and solid because we have to get off to a good start in the league where there will a lot of difficult games."
"[The Coppa Italia] was one of our objectives and we didn't succeed. Now, we have to qualify for Europe via the domestic league. I am disappointed because everyone wanted to go to Rome to play in the final. A lot of important players will return and we will focus on Serie A", concluded Pioli.
