A day ahead of the season's concluding match between Milan and Atalanta, where a win ensures qualification to the Champions League for Stefano Pioli's men, the rossoneri coach spoke to the press. Here was his preview of the match: "The final standings will give the verdict. We have talked all year about turning point matches and tomorrow will be one. We have prepared well for the match and the team is motivated to get a good result."

"The week was a strange one, until Wednesday there was a lot of unhappiness present. Then it transfromed into motivation and concentration. Milan should believe because they've shown throughout the season to be a strong side, and one of the toughest in the league. We've never lost faith in our quality and tomorrow will be the final test. We are united now and we will give our best tomorrow."

"Rebic now is more unlikely than likely, but we will see tomorrow morning. Everyone else is healthy, in very good condition. Ibra has been so important in the growth of the group. Tomorrow the whole squad and club will travel, our fans will not travel with us but they will be with us. Zlatan will not be on the bench but he will be close to the team. We want to have a determined and attentive team."
