M'Baye Niang spoke to 'Football Show' on beIN Sports, and included in the program was the Milan winger's explanation of the penalty discussion between he and Lapadula. The Frenchman failed to convert and here were his words: "There was some confusion over the penalty, but I was first on the list of takers. Lapadula is in good form, he wanted to take the penalty, but I told him to let me take it. I wanted to score too, I hadn't scored in a month. But it happened that way." Niang also spoke about his current state at the club, as well as his future: "Previously my loan in Genoa has served me well, I went there and I had less pressure after a difficult time with Milan. Then in the next season I rediscovered trust thanks to Mihajlovic, his support was good for me. Future? I have a contract until 2019. I am happy at Milan, I'm happy with the whole team and I have a good relationship with the coach. I wouldn't have any reason for leaving."
