Milan boss Vincenzo Montella spoke about the Coppa Italia and several other things amongst all, the winter transfer window and how he felt the season was going:
"We'll evaluate at the end of the year, this was just the first half. A lot of players have grown and surprised me, one of them is Abate who is now captain. We have to focus solely on the league and the Coppa Italia, the victory in the Super Cup is already forgotten. I'm always speaking about transfers with Galliani, I have to say what I need technique wise but we need to keep in mind the economic aspect. If there was a chance at improving the squad... I'd be happy if it stayed like this also. Storari? I've known him for a long time. we wanted to let Gabriel play so we had this opportunity. Marco knows the environment here and can be useful both in and out of the pitch".
