Milan, Montella: "It has been a while since I've been looking at my own funeral"

Milan registered their second consecutive 0-0 draw with AEK Athens. Vincenzo Montella spoke to Sky Sport at the conclusion of the game: "Andre Silva has great potential. He is making mistakes but he is a great talent. There is work to do, but I am seeing a squad with quality. In the last few weeks, we are creating less, but conceding less. The first half was so-so, but the second half was better. We could have came out with the win. It was not an easy game against an opponent who did not allow to play. A crisis among the forwards? It would have been to distribute the goals that we scored from earlier on in the season. The squad fought hard and gave it everything. I am confident. Today's game was a delicate one and so will be Sunday's game. Suso? I did not want to risk him from the start, as he may start on Sunday. It has been a while that I have been looking at my own funeral and I think this has been an advantage for me. It allows you to become more aware. I don't know what will happen, but I know the club is close to me. There needs to be a synchronization because there is no movement without the ball and no one is making runs for or towards their teammates. We have to do better because we are being man-marked and this is causing problems all over the field."
