Milan has surpassed Inter in the Series A standings with their recent victory over Palermo. Vincenzo Montella spoke to Sky after the match:
"Closing? We will see what happens. The team cannot be affected by what they see or read. The club has always been present on every level, and I am certain that the team will not make any excuses. I am happy and proud to coach Berlusconi's Milan. I also had the small satisfaction of winning another trophy. We will think about the new ownership on Saturday, but my thanks goes to Berlusconi for bringing me here."
"Bacca played a great match. I think he can do even more, but today he had a very good game. Deulofeu? We were looking for someone with his characteristics. He quickly was made to feel important. Pasalic put forth extra effort because he was not in perfect physical condition. Did I encounter Fassone and Mirabelli to tell them if I am going to stay? I have never encountered or spoken to them."
