A meeting that will help determine whether Cristian Zapata and Milan will continue together after seven seasons or if his future will be far away from the club.
Zapata, and his agent Ivan Cordoba, were at Casa Milan this morning to meet with the rossoneri directors and discuss the Colombian's future. His contract expires in June and on the table is a proposal from Fenerbahce, who want the player immediately and are offering him a contract of two and a half seasons in order to bring him to Istanbul. It has been denied by Leonardo as he does not want to lose the defender during the winter transfer session.
Milan has made their first offer to Zapata, a yearly contract with wages of 2 million plus bonuses (2.4 total). A proposal that will be reviewed by the player in these coming days. In the meantime, he will also evaluate other superior offers from Fenerbahce, with a new economic proposal for June, as well as other clubs. Everything is still to be decided for Zapata and whether his future will remain in Milan or if he will try a new destination.
