Milan are looking to the future and today there was an important summit to determine the club’s future structure. As reported by Sky Sport’s Peppe Di Stetani, Ivan Gazidis and Paolo Maldini met and the vibe is positive. The two will meet again at some point on Monday since Gazidis is expected to travel to Spain where he’ll likely attend the Champions League final.
The main issue discussed regards Maldini’s specific role within the club. The former rossoneri captain wants to play a significant part in the rebuild of the club rather than be part of a new team built by the Elliott fund. A new update is expected next week, but at the moment there isn’t a break up in the cards.
