While the Piatek deal is nearing the conclusion, Milan are looking to bolster also their midfield.
The Rossoneri are considering several options, the latest being Napoli's Amadou Diawara. Milan have already made an enquiry with Napoli over a loan deal with an option to buy, but the transfer formula has been deemed not acceptable by the Partenopei's president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
What remains to be seen is whether Milan will keep trying to sign him, changing also the conditions of the deal, or they will abandon this option. The Rossoneri are also considering bringing in a new winger and Carrasco remains the name on top of their list in that position.
