After completing their first signing of the window with Rade Krunic, Milan are working to keep bolstering their team.
For the defence, the Rossoneri have targeted Roma's defender Kostas Manolas. The Milan-based club have already made contact with the Greek centre-back and they are now trying to obtain a discount on the 36 million euros of the player's release clause. Milan's intention is to forestall the competition, taking advantage of Roma's need to register capital gains before June 30th. However, the Giallorossi have made clear that they won't accept offers below the sum of the release clause.
Should they not reach an agreement for, Milan are still evaluating Liverpool's Croatian centre-back Dejan Lovren as possible alternative.
For the midfield, new coach Marco Giampaolo has a dream target: Lucas Torreira. A deal appears extremely difficult, as Arsenal has no intention to sell the Uruguayan midfielder, who joined the Gunners from Sampdoria for €30 million just a year ago.
