After a first part of the season at Celtic on loan from Milan, Uruguayan left midfielder Diego Laxalt has become a target for Al-Hilal.
Laxalt, who is currently in Dubai with Celtic's squad for a training camp, is in fact in the radar of the Saudi club, which currently sit on top of their league's table. Al-Hilal have submitted an offer for a three-year deal with a proposed salary of €3 million per season, but they have not opened any negotiations with Milan yet.
The player, however, has already turned down the Saudi offer, as he would prefer to remain in Europe and especially at Celtic - which is his priority. Laxalt has in fact become a regular starter under Lennon, who will very likely ask the club to open a negotiation with Milan to sign Laxalt - whose contract with the Rossoneri expires in June 2022 - on a permanent deal, provided that the coach remains in charge at Celtic Park.
