One of Milan's targets for the January window is moving away from a rossoneri future, Kouadio Konè who plays for Toulouse is close to moving to Borussia Monchengladbach and ending Milan's hopes of luring him. There have been confirmed reports that a deal is near after Gladbach offered €9m for the midfielder, beating Milan's offer of €5-6m.
The German club is now finalizing the details of the player's contract, who initially gave priority for Milan to sign him but at the end will negotiate his departure to Gladbach after their significantly higher offer. A deal should be officially announced between Monchengladbach and Konè in the coming days.
Milan is continuing to work on a deal for Mohamed Simakan of Strasburg. The club's directors are working on reaching a total agreement with both parties.
