Former Inter and Milan striker Hernan Crespo knows very well what playing a derby della Madonnina means. In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentinian discussed the strikers of both teams: "I had heard good things about Cutrone when he played in Milan youth academy, but I couldn't have predicted his outbreak. I like the way he works the space, he can read the play and he offers many passing solutions. He's also smart like a more experienced striker. He is not a phenomenon yet, but he has got everything to become one. Icardi is more mature but he has big margin for improvement. He is great and I hope for "my" Argentina that he will become even greater. He has also started to be involved more in the team's manoeuvre. When he attacks the space behind the centre-back you don't have the time to think which player has to close him down that he has already punished you. I think he is a leader because his teammates respect him, not because of the captain armband". Finally, Crespo made his prediction for the game: "It will be a tense, nervous and very tactical game. I don't see a favourite team. It will be a game that one has to play more with his head than with his legs".
