Gonzalo Higuain's transfer to Milan is progressing little by little as the sides work for an agreement. A meeting on Monday night between Nicolas Higuain and Leonardo lasted over three and a half hours. The Milan technical director and the brother-agent of Higuain, along with the player's lawyer, found progress on a deal that is now become close to reality.
Higuain and Milan are closer than ever: on Tuesday morning with the lawyers reconvening to work on all aspects of the final agreement, there will also be an attempt to reach a deal with Juventus on the last details remaining concerning the Bonucci-Caldara swap. The clubs must next come to an agreement on the final sums to hit the balance sheets: the deal to bring Higuain to Milan will be a loan for a €20 million fee plus purchase option, set around €35-36 million, and those terms are close to finalized between the sides. There is not much distance remaining between Gonzalo Higuain and a move to Milan for the Argentine.
