There has been a changing of the guard at Milan this week, with Ivan Gazidis spending time with the squad at Milanello instead of Maldini, Boban and Massara. The former Arsenal director spoke to the players at the end of the training session for about ten minutes, he touched upon numerous themes.
Gazidis discussed the crisis surrounding the Coronavirus, then confirmed Boban's departure from the club- while there is respect between the directors, the interview with Gazzetta cello Sport essentially ended the relationship. Gazidis confirmed that he will speak to Maldini and Boban but without giving specifics about their future. Gazidis confirmed the plan's ambitions and the respect for Ragnick, with who me however there has yet to be any contact, he also reiterated the confidence in Pioli but that all depends on the results. Finally Gazidis mentioned plans for a new stadium which is expected to be amongst the most impressive in the world.
