Today’s match against Atalanta at San Siro followed a familiar plot line for Milan, the rossoneri took the lead only to see the match end in draw. After the match Rino Gattuso spoke to Sky Sport about the predicament:”There’s a lot of regret, not anger. I saw a two faced team, the same as the past four matches. At times we play good football but we aren’t able to be consistent. When you don’t close out the match when you have a first half like the one we had it’s clear it could end badly”
Gattuso was asked about his team’s position in the standings:”Playing well isn’t enough, it’s not synonymous with winning. We don’t last long, we give up 40 minutes, the opponents take advantage of this, especially if they have quality substitutes that give strength like Atalanta. I’m interested with the points in the standings, we are having good performances, but we need continuity, and this isn’t happening”
