Milan are looking to bounce back after their loss to Napoli last Saturday when they face Roma tomorrow at San Siro. Manager Rino Gattuso discussed that status of his teams as well as what he expects from his opponents in the pre match press conference:”I was pleased to see the boys work so hard during the week, we play at home, there will be 60,000 fans at San Siro. We have to do everything to avoid the mistakes we made in Naples. We like to play on the opposite end, it’s not true that our defense plays too deep. We just need to push forward as soon as we get rid of the opponent’s pressure. Little time has passed since the last match against Roma, but both teams have changed. I would see my team play like in the first 55 minutes of the last match”
Gattuso was also asked about some of his individual players:”Will Caldara start? Tomorrow we’ll see. Some people misunderstood what I said about Bakayoko, I didn’t blame him. I meant that it’s not easy to play in a new league and in a new country. He needs time that is all. Higuain makes us play better and allows us to go high up the pitch. We have to give him more support in the last 20 meters. I’m very satisfied with his performance”
