According to Sky journalist Peppe Di Stefano, Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso will probably sign a contract extension tomorrow. Fassone was at Milanello today and they found an agreement for another 3 years until the end of June 2021.
Gattuso spoke about a possible contract renewal after the Derby today: "My contract? I spoke with the club my contract will come but it is not a priority. It is a difficult task as I feel pressure to bring this club back to where it deserves. I am sure that I will continue, it is up to me to make the most of this opportunity. I believe in the seriousness of my staff, the club and my players. Then when it is over we'll see how I did."
