Milan fell to Inter 3-2, tilting the race for third place in the standings back into the nerazzurri's favor. Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso spoke to the press after the match.
"In the first half Inter was better than us. Then we changed and improved, but when we left the pitch open we put ourselves into difficulty. For our characteristics a few situations were not easy. We didn't cover the pitch well, but we weren't able to press high. It burns to allow a goal 7-on-2 in the penalty area. After getting down 2-0 others would have looked to give up, Inter has quality and physical strength. For this, I am happy. The team is alive, we had chances to tie."
On the argument between Biglia and Kessié: "The thing that hurts is the picture of Kessié, that's the biggest defeat. Something like that isn't how I view football, the team or the daily job. It requires respect for everyone, an ugly scene."
