Milan's chase to a Champions League spot continues slowly, as the Rossoneri failed to get the three points at home against Udinese, extending their winless streak to three games. Milan's coach Gennaro Gattuso discussed the draw against Tudor's side with Sky Sport after the game: "We are trying everything to change things, but right now that's the way it goes. We struggled today, the team was too soft. We could have lost. We need to bounce back, we are not playing to our full potential. We knew what we were up against, you can try new things in order to get points but today it didn't go well. It happens to have ups and downs during a season, we hadn't lost for a very long time [before these three games] and now it is what it is. We have to analyse things carefully, the ball gets heavier when you are not sharp, we need to recover some energy".
Gattuso adressed also the issue of injuries, with Donnarumma and Paquetà force to leave the pitch in the first half: "Kessié didn't finish training yesterday, today he underwent some tests and we decided not to risk him. Suso picked up a knock on his foot, we want to have him back for Saturday's game. We'll evaluate also Donnarumma and Paquetà"
