After his team lost at home 2-0 to Juventus, Gennaro Gattuso discussed Milan's performance in the match. Gonzalo Higauin's contributions to the match, including a penalty saved and a straight red card in the second half, were central talking points from the coach. Here were Gattuso's comments to Sky Sport:

"Benatia sending off? This is not something we can focus on, we will let it go. Tonight we played as we needed to play, we were naive in allowing the second goal. Higuain's penalty? Let's not discuss it over and over, it's easy to make it the talking point. I hope now he makes amends for the way he responded leading to the sending off, he needs not to go over the edge and just focus on the match. This Juventus is up with Barcelona and City as the strongest in Europe. We were done in by their speed and physicality."
