Milan, Fassone: "Fans can expect two or three new signings this summer. Mister Li could look for new partners, but Milan are a financially and economically healthy club"

Milan CEO Marco Fassone talked about Milan financial situation and the future of the club in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I am happy with the situation of the club outside of the pitch, we are on the right path and in line with the forecasts. The refinancing will happen, even though we're still discussing the modalities. Mister Li is evaluating three options, there's no need to hurry it, we still have six months. We have always had the support from the owner, the capital inflows are constant. I don't think Uefa's sanctions will be so strict to limit our work on the transfer market. Of course the balance between investements and outflows will be much lighter than last year. Investements will be coherent with our current revenue, that right now is of about 215-220 million per year. Our only constriction is Financial Fair Play, that forces you to limit the investements. Milan to Elliott? It would be odd, almost impossible. The president has invested a lot of money in this club, and he keeps inventing it. I don't think it will happen. Milan are solid from a financial and economic point of view. An exit strategy from mister Li? As far as I know, he is serene and willing to be Milan's president in the future. But it's possible that he could cooperate with new partners".

Finally, Fassone discussed his plan for the next transfer window: "We will consolidate our squad. The 80-90% of the team performed in line with or above our expectations. Mirabelli did a great job. Now we will make progressive adjustements, the supporters can expect two or three new players. If we look at the numbers we are not in need of selling one of our best players, but having talked with sporting director and coach I can say that there will be some arrivals and some departures. Donnarumma? We have faith in him, he is one of the pillars of the team and our idea is that he will be Milan's starting goalkeeper for many years", concluded Fassone.
