Gigio Donnarumma's season finished early in respect to his teammates, as he was forced to leave the Milan-SPAL match in the 21' after suffering an injury. Donnarumma fell to the ground after Milan took a 1-0 lead and was immediately replaced by Pepe Reina. The rossoneri club released a statement on the keeper's injury on the team's website.
"AC Milan communicates this morning that goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma underwent tests that revealed an injury in the player's right thigh."
