Milan-Donnarumma, meeting on Thursday to discuss extension: the situation

While Milan have been very active acquiring reinforcements for Montella's squad, they are still waiting to get clarity on Gigio Donnarumma's future. The rossoneri were expecting an answer on their extension offer on Tuesday, but the response never arrived, which created tensions between the parties. On Thursday directors Mirabelli and Fassone will meet with Donnarumma's agent Mino Raiola in Milano for a face to face meeting. Milan's management are annoyed that they didn't get an answer while Raiola didn't appreciate that Milan contacted Donnarumma directly while he was in Trigoria for the Under 21's retreat, Fassone had to intervene to patch things up so a decision was made for the face to face meeting on Thursday.
