After his adventure with Milan coming to an end some time ago, the complete transfer has now been made official: Diego Lopez has been sold from Milan to Espanyol, after having initially been acquired on a loan at the start of last season. The statement arrived from the social media accounts of Milan: “AC Milan announces the definitive sale of Diego Lopez to Espanyol”.
The Spanish keeper will thus continue his adventure with Espanyol with a new contract announcement, due to expire in 2020: “Diego Lopez and RCD Espanyol have reached an agreement for a contract renewal. The keeper has signed until 30th of June 2020, and will have an exit clause of 50 million Euros”.
