As a result, the 'rossoneri' are ready to renew their relationship with Italian midfielder Jack Bonaventura. The talented player born in 1989 has been a part of the club since 2014, and is currently one of the most prized gems of the club. He’s a player that scores, assists, and can play in multiple positions. The green light for the new contract, ending in 2020, has been given by the Chinese ownership.
Negotiations had been going on for several weeks, in which Galliani and Raiola (Agent of Bonaventura) had already reached an agreement. The only thing missing was the approval of SES group, due to some issues with due payments from the previous ownership. The complications have been resolved with Fassone acting as an intermediary between the parties involved. Bonaventura will earn 500 thousand more in comparison to his previous contract (From 1.5m to 2m). Fininvest and the Chinese ownership will be splitting the extra sum (250k each), the final approval from the Italians is the only thing left to wait for. Either way, this contract renewal can be considered a done deal, unlike the one for Paletta. The defender class of 1989 has not yet convinced the Chinese ownership.
