UEFA's decision from June 27th to has been overturned, as Milan won their appeal with CAS and will participate in the 2018-19 Europa League. Milan had initially been punished for having spent 2014-17 in the red, their lack of continuity with Li Yonghong, and the large amount of debt owed to main shareholder Elliott. During yesterday's meeting in Lausanne, the presence of Elliott's Franck Tuil proved to be decisive, guaranteeing business and financial continuity for the coming years, something that Milan has lacked over the past few months.
