After Olivier Giroud, who will undergo medicals on Friday before signing a contract with Milan, the rossoneri will continue looking at new additions. There are two other pending moves: the return of Brahim Diaz, and the purchase of Fode Ballo-Touré. Both deals have already been reached and the players expected in the city by Saturday.
The agreement with Real Madrid for Brahim Diaz has been reached, a two-year loan for €3 million (€1.5 million per season), with a purchase option set at €22 million, and a counteroption for Madrid at €27m million.
MIlan are also set to welcome Fode Ballo-Touré from Monaco, finding an agreement with the club for a fee of €4 million with €500k bonus tied to qualification in the Champions League and to appearances made by the player.
Without yet having made sales, Milan has invested €60 million to buy five players outright plus Brahim Diaz: Maignan, at €16 million, Tomori's clause of €28 million and Tonali's at €7 million, the return of Brahim Diaz (€3 million, and the only player not owned), and the purchase of Giroud (€1 million) and Ballo-Touré (€4 million). The reinforcements will join Milan ahead of their season as they look to repeat a second place finish.
