Milan are looking to purchase a new striker, among the targets for the rossoneri is Chelsea's Alvaro Morata. Fassone and Mirabelli have been in London working on a deal for the Spaniard, who wishes for a return to Italy. Napoli are also monitoring the status of Morata, but have not been seriously involved.
Higuain is a candidate to depart Juventus after Ronaldo's arrival at the club, and for Milan, he is also a target. Contacts are underway with Gonzalo's brother-agent over a deal.
The targets being chased by the current Milan directors, nonetheless, might not come to fruition. The club's new owner, the Elliot Management fund, continues to look at new names for the key roles in the club. If replaced, the new directors would take over the search for reinforcements for the squad.
