Milan midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko spoke to France Football about his time at Chelsea and his current experience at the Rossoneri: "I will do everything to make sure that Milan qualifies for the Champions League. Milan fans have not heard the anthem in five years and I want to be at the San Siro when it returns. Every players wants to have a manager like Gennaro Gattuso. He is a father figure, who you can talk with him about whatever subject. Sarri didn't want me? I think it was something that happened higher up in the club. A second season at Chelsea would have allowed me to play all my cards, but I felt that I needed a change of scenery. [Milan Sporting Director] Leonardo contacted me and if I wanted to leave Chelsea, I would have only done it for Milan. It was a club that made me dream as a child. Paolo Maldini and Leonardo are iconic figures of the club and they make you understand that the importance of being at Milan. I remember Maldini with his long hair and his captain armband, it seems incredible to talk about it."
