With Gonzalo Higuain's move to Chelsea on the pathway to becoming official, Milan are continuing to look at their options to replace the striker. A meeting with Genoa for Krzysztof Piątek is scheduled this afternoon: Genoa's directors will join president Preziosi in Milan. After the meeting the two sides should have a clear idea of the type of offer Milan is willing to make for Piątek.
Until now, there has not been a meeting between the clubs, but the latest contacts between the directors of both Milan and Genoa have allowed the sides to schedule today's meeting. The Piątek to Milan deal will be developing, as Milan are looking to replace the likely soon departed Higuain.
