Milan's project to fill their squad with young Italian players is well underway, and now, the rossoneri have identified two further players: Atalanta's Mattia Caldara and Roberto Gagliardini. There has been initial contact between the clubs, and Milan has made their interest in the duo explicit. While talks have begun now, an eventual deal could be solidified in June. But there is interest from other teams for Caldara, as Juventus has been an admirer of the 1994-born defender for some time, and Napoli having just today also lodged their interest. Over the two young Italians Caldara and Gagliardini, a fight between the big clubs of Serie A is taking shape already.
