Alexis Saelemaekers is now officially a Milan player. The rossoneri communicated this on their website, stating: "AC Milan communicates that it has exercised the purchase option for the sporting rights of Alexis Saelemaekers. The Belgian player will be tied to the rossoneri club through June 30th, 2024."
The midfielder arrived in January from Anderlecht on a paid loan of 3.5 million with the obligation to purchase at another 3.5 million plus bonus, for a complete figure of around 8 million. Today, the official word of the purchase option kicking in has arrived.
