While on vacation at Porto Cervo, Sinisa Mihajlovic was interviewed by L'originale, he discussed many topics, including Belotti's future: "Cholito? I do not talk about players that do not play for Torino. There are many names and I am confident that the directors will do all that they can . Everything will depend on Belotti's future, but we also need another striker. His future will be decided soon. I brought Balotelli to Milan and I would bring him to Torino, why not?"

He spoke briefly about Torino's objectives for next season: "Next season will be a stimulating one, as we are entering in phase two of our project. This year, we laid the foundations and brought back a certain mentality. Now, we have to work on the details and correct our errors. The objective after two years is to qualify for Europe. We will try but it will not only depend on us."

Mihajlovic also spoke about the Donnarumma situation: "Gigio is strong but he is only 18 years old . I wish him well. To become a champion, he has to continue to mature and to do it a club where everyone can help him. He does not have to hit the ground running, as he still has 20 years left in his career. If I were Gigio, I would stay a little bit longer at Milan both for gratitude and to grow. The situation could have been handle a lot better."
