Marseille are not giving up on Napoli's Milik. Even though the Partenopei rejected the latest offer, the French club are maintaining daily contact with the Italian club and envoys are working to find a solution.
Marseille made an offer of 8 million euros plus 1 million in bonuses (tied to Champions League qualification). This was rejected by Napoli, who are demanding 9-10 miilion euros as a fixed cost and a total fee of 15 million euros. It is possible that a 25 percent future sale clause may be added.
Marseille have deemed this demand to be too high, but the talks continue. Milik is hoping that an agreement is reach in order to start playing again.
