Andrés Iniesta's future still isn't clear. After the press conference of the Barcelona midfielder where he said officially he would leave the club at the end of the season, people - especially in Spain - have talked a lot about the probable destination in which he could land for next season. With a lot of probabilities he could play in China, but in the last hours, the Chongqing Dangdai Lifan (the most interested team in Iniesta) has posted an official statement in which they've confirmed their invested but don't say whether his future will be there or not.
Some informations about Iniesta's wages at the Chongqing Dangdai Lifan have been reported in the last weeks, €81m in three seasons, but the club's president, in the statement, has precise three points. He's said that the club will pay attention to its expenses, spending responsibly and that his money would also be used to help developing the Chinese football.
He's then put the stress on the club's efforts to make the youth Chinese system grow, focusing a lot on the youngster football: "Whatever violation of the Chinese Association of football's policy doesn't follow our club's growing philosophy". In the end, speaking about Iniesta, the president assures that "the club's holding has an agreement on other sections with Mr. Iniesta and there could be agreements for the Chinese market in the future, but that doesn't necessarily mean he would sign a contract as a player".
That's how the mystery is thus maintained around the future of the Spanish player: according to Marca this statement can be read as one being made by a president under pressure with all these rumors coming from Spain but also as an official note that definitely closes the door to a move to the Chongqing Dangdai Lifan for Iniesta next season.
