This season Rolando Mandragora has established himself in Serie A at Crotone. The midfielder born in ‘97 had previously played at Genoa before joining Juventus back in 2016, prior to jonining Crotone he all spent a season on loan at Pescara. His future will be decided by Juventus who still owns his rights, Mandragora described his experience in Turin in an exclusive interview to GianlucaDiMarzio.com: “Joining the bianconeri was an important milestone, having done so at such a young age is a starting point. Unfortunately during the year spent at Juventus, I didn’t have oppprtunity to showcase what I could do since I had an injury that kept me out for 9/10 months: I had a double surgery, but in that dark moment the club was close to me”
Despite the struggles Mandragora maybe had the best experience of his career during his stay in Turin:”I made my debut at Juventus Stadium, appropriately against Genoa, the coronation of a dream. Debuting at such a young age was an honor, but also a great responsibility: in my mind I knew it had to be just a starting point. I practiced with some extraordinary champions during my year in bianconero, I was surprised by their determination in practices, they looked like 18 year olds making their debut: practicing with champions like that helps you improve. My role models? Pjanic, Marchisio, Khedira”
