Breaking down Italy's 2-0 win over Northern Ireland in the World Cup qualifiers for 2022, coach of the Azzurri Roberto Manini gave his thoughts afterwards. Mancini was on the sidelines as Berardi and Immobile found the net, he spoke about the match to Rai Sport: "The first half was excellent. We scored two and could have scored even more goals. During the second half I restate we could have done better, but after five months here we are. Pellegrini and Immobile? Lorenzo played a great match, Locatelli did in his bit. Immobile, for an attacker it is always about scoring, we are happy for him. A few too many errors in the second half, especially building up from the back. We had the right buildup from the back but at times the ball can go forward to engage Ciro in the play. The pre-match tributes? Five azzurri legends and young Daniel, what a tragic loss. These are things that should never happen but this is life, it is a great sadness."
