Manchester United are in Shaghai for their summer tour where they will amongst other teams, face off with crosstown rivals Manchester City coached by none other than Pep Guardiola. Red Devil's manager José Mourinho held a press conference ahead of the upcoming match against Borussia Dortmund where he amongst other things, spoke about Juventus Paul Pogba.
"I will neither confirm nor deny anything. First of all, it's wrong to speak about players that belong to another club. He is a Juventus player and not a Manchester United player. The club has done an excellent job so far for me with regards to the transfer window, almost 75% of what I have asked for has been completed. What remains is 25% and we have until August 31st to fix this. We are in good shape. We are calm and I have confidence in Mr. Woodward, who surely knows how to seize the profile we need to give my team the correct balance."
In conclusion, Mourinho was asked about why he decided not to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic on this tour. "Every player is different. My decision is based on his physical condition, which is different to his personality and his thoughts."
