Manchester United have closed the deal with Sporting CP for Portuguese creative midfielder Bruno Fernandes. The clubs have reached an agreement on the basis of a €80 million total transfer fee: €55 million plus an additional €25 million in bonuses. The player is expected to travel to England, where he will undergo a medical tomorrow before completing his move to Old Trafford with the signature on his contract with the Red Devils.
Sampdoria, Fernandes's former club, will receive 10% of the future capital gain that Sporting CP will register with the sale of the Portuguese due to a clause included in the €8,5 million transfer contract signed by Sampdoria and Sporting CP for the sale of the player in 2017.
