Matteo Darmian has been playing at Manchester United since the 2015/16 season: three seasons in Premier League and now the will to return to Italy especially after last season who hasn't been brilliant, and seen him in a substitute role. Despite that, the player assures there are no problems between him and Mourinho. The former Torino player has talked about it to La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"I believe Mancini is a winner, and the right choice for Italy's national team. I'll try to deserve a starter shirt, but it's not easy at United. My agent knows what I want. Juve, Inter or Napoli? It's not my role to answer that question, I'll move for the best solution and I'd consider all possibilities. One year ago, I was close to return to Italy but Mourinho and the club didn't want to sell me so nothing happened. An important proof of esteem, but I'm now looking for continuity".
