Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals how he started in an exclusive interview with Sky Sport. "I grew up with my dad. He worked hard for us. For example, when I played for Malmoe youth team and I needed some money to go to Germany for some tournaments he would give me the money I needed and then not pay the rent for a month. He did that to give me all the chances he could. When I first arrived at Malmoe I wasn't welcomed by my teammates, because I have a foreign name. Then the team got relegated and they needed some youngsters to replace some players who had left. I was not a starter, I sometimes came on from the bench, but I still was not welcome. Some day they said me that Andersson, the first team's coach wanted to see me. I thought I had mad some mistake, that I was in trouble. Instead the coach said that I had played enough in the youth team, I had to play with the first team. Finally someone believed in me. In Sweden i knew I had to work ten times harder than the others, since I was considered a foreigner", Zlatan says.
The Swede tells also about his refusal to go trough a trial for Arsenal: "I went to London to meet Wenger. He asked me to go trough a trial but I said: "I don't do trials. Either you sign me or not, I'm not here to waste my time. I was already that confident. So I moved to Ajax, we closed the deal within an hour. The start wasn't the best, I didn't score a lot and I was booed for this. But then Ronald Koeman became the coach, he started talking with me. Finally I had found a coach who didn't give me orders, but he helped me. When I scored in the Dutch Cup's final he came to me to thank me".
